Description

The Level 2 Diploma in Care is a competence based qualification which has been developed with Skills for Care, Skills for Health and in consultation with employers who provide adult care and health services. Designed to support the on-programme element of the Adult Care Worker apprenticeship standard in England, the qualification is mandatory within the adult care worker standard and covers the knowledge and skills required to work in an adult care worker role in a range of settings, supporting individuals with different needs. In addition the qualification could be used as an option to support delivery of the on-programme element of the Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship standard, though it IS NOT a mandatory component of the healthcare support worker apprenticeship.

It is anticipated that learners will progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF), or to specialist qualifications reflecting the context in which they work.

The success of your learning depends on your emotional state. Harpar embeds Brain-Based Learning into each of its courses. By creating energetic, fresh training with audio and visual stimuli, your emotional state will become more positive and therefore conducive to learning, allows for maximum impact.

The digital learning allows you to learn at your own time and pace, providing no disruption to your other commitments. Our learning fits with your life.

Everybody needs to learn. To stay the same produces discomfort and negativity in our lives. We need to grow to remain positive and productive. Your brain needs stimulation, even if its learning a better way of doing the things we do every day. Your new learning will enhance your skills set, allow you to change your behaviour in a positive way and make you more productive in the workplace. Once you have become more skills, you are worth more to yourself and to your organisation

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
